Using a Diagnostic Skin Scanner, your skin therapist will accurately diagnose your skin identifying your skin concerns while detecting any future skin concern before they surface. Skin Resurfacing
Skin exfoliation improves the quality and tone of the skin. Due to environmental factors, old surface cells become dehydrated resulting in thickened skin. The skin’s surface then becomes congested, affecting the skin’s ability to breathe and receive moisture. Professional exfoliation assists in removal of the superficial dead skin to reveal newer, healthier cells below, stimulating collagen and elastin. This process is called skin rejuvenation. A safe and non-surgical procedure of intense exfoliation and resurfacing that rejuvenates the skin with no downtime. A medical grade machine with diamond-tipped heads &/or fine alum-oxide crystals are used, to gently abrade the dead surface cells of the skin. Vaccuum suction within the machine, assists with the removal of these dead cells, whilst stimulating better lymphatic flow and collagen synthesis. A chemical peel treatment is one of the oldest cosmetic procedures in the world, and was performed in ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome to help people achieve smoother, more beautiful skin. Today, light or medium strength chemical facial peels are popular because they offer nearly immediate results and can be performed with no down.
An acid solution is used to remove the damaged dead surface layers of the skin. Your skin therapist will use a specific formula for your chemical peel based on the characteristics of your skin and your desired result with virtually no downtime.
